Course Curriculum Overview
I was curious about computer and their working fundamentals so to my curiosity I decided to take this course with my parents and chose our state's best university. Therefore I chose AKS University. Faculties and student ratio are about as leading universities/ colleges have. It would be 1:30. Most of the faculties have a higher degree in their respective fields. Most faculties have doctorate degrees. It's our gratitude to join such a university. Some lab facilities are needed to be also higher educative. Lab faculties are not professionally trained and experienced I think. Teaching methods are easy. Professors methodically teach us. Exams are conducted in always timely. It's super easy to pass the semester exam if you have focused on practicals and theory. It's mostly 50-50 % of theory and practical. They're given 20 questions and you have to attempt only 8 questions. Of those 20 questions, half are practical-based questions.
Internships Opportunities
I have received two intership offer from SilverSky technologies a Bangalore-based services company with 10k stipend. I've worked on two major projects. First was Doostudy. it's the basically educational social media app. In second I'm created many small game apps. I developed and designed Instagram clone , TicTocToe App.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year of the degree, you became eligible to sit on campus. Many famous companies' campus offers excellent package. TCS like companies is also offered jobs. The highest package offered to my batchmate was 8lpa. Around 30 percentage students got job offers from on campus. Many got from off-site campus. I'm working on my idea which will take place of a start-up just 2 or 3 years later. Currently, I'm working with an internship at a company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the degree may be different as per the year, of course, you have availed. When I joined the year fees of b.tech cs were 52k. But now it's around 56k. All States scholarship has been provided by the university. You can avail of every OBC, SC and ST scholarship as per your state. If you can also get a chancellor scholarship. And they're many scholarships which the university sponsors. I got an internship with okey stipend.
Campus Life
All the time on campus there are going to some events and tests. On your course, you're definitely gonna play hard party of the welcome party. In December you'll be having a fresher party. Yeah, they're many little events always going on. The central library is open 5 days a week. You can get your all books and stuff related to your course. Every department and block has its library. smart labs smart classes are there. If you're interested in sports activities there are always going some games you can join and avail national level champion in many sports games. Many Facebook group runs by students. One of the groups is the Aks students community.
Admission
Eligibility of the course was a minimum of 50 per cent in PCM. application form for admission is super easy. You need to visit their university website where you can fill in your basic details and will avail the counselling officer's details. After filling in basic details you will be called to their city office or your nearest town/city office. You can directly contact our university's city office. They're very friendly. They're no reservations currently ongoing. Universities should implement an online self-admission process so students and their parents can directly apply for admission.
