REVIEWING EXPERIENCE

There are no such specific aspects, because of which I chose this course. I easily got admission here and this course prepares us to improve yield and quality in the agriculture field. so, I chose this course.

Unpaid internships were offered to us that also for the role of sales in the college. Other than that our course curriculum includes a year training program in which we directly interact with farmers and learn practical approaches to the subjects, also make them aware of the new techniques and improved ways of farming to enhance farm yields.

The course that I was in itself did not have many private jobs. So, only posts are available after B.SC. agriculture is sales and marketing. From the 6th sem, only students are eligible for campus placements. many companies visited such as Godrej Agro vet, Agrostar, etc.

when I took admission, the total fee was 32,000 per sem. (tuition: rs. 29500 + exam fee: rs. 2500) yearly fee included: rs. 64,000 they have changed the fee structure for 2024, i.e., semester-wise: rs. 48,000 for south students: a total of rs. 75000 (for 1st and 2nd sem) and then rs. 48000 per semester. yearly: rs. 96,000 As a general-category student, I received no scholarships or financial aid.

The technical fest named Agri Fest used to take place once every year. various stalls are installed by students. Kisan mela also takes place every year where specifically agricultural stalls are installed to teach farmers and make them aware of the new varieties or new techniques of framing.

I applied for several other state government colleges but I did not get selected for them. It was easy to gain admission at AKS University, as there was no entrance exam for selection criteria and I was eligible for this college as I met the selection criteria eligibility which had at least 56% marks in 12th.

For around 300 students we had around 15 faculties per semester. As I mentioned before, Professors are supportive. They were approachable even at odd hours. and the most likeable faculty was Mr. Santosh sir who teaches biochemistry and IPR. He is always ready to guide us in our future careers. exam structure was quite simple, as there were only two exams per semester, a Mid-sem and a final theory exam. total marks allotted was 100 marks.

As a day scholar, I did not roam much around with friends. I know very little of the Nightlife around the campus. although, the famous spot to hang out is "the Royal Cafe" where most of the students make their memories with friends and hang out.
