My Experience

Everywhere there is good or bad.No Bad Remarks in all - KIIT is really a nice college and the management is also very nice. But sometimes I feel the people there (Staff) treat people very badly.

I Opted for KIITEE and went for counselling. Got Admitted in the selection process. I loved the college because it is one of the best colleges in Odisha and chose MCA so that I can get a good career. I got Campus also.

There were lot of subjects - Maths, Organizational Behavior, Computer Languages, Hardware and Networking, Business Communications etc. Lot of Practical subjects and many more.

We did not get any stipend there. The course fee and all were rather very high as compared to other colleges providing the same degree. No companies were there who gave us any stipend for anything we did.

Placement is the highlight of the college. Though they guarantee that placement will be 100% but my practical experience showed it was no 100% in real.Lot of good companies came at the final term - TCS, Wipro, HCL, Mindtree, Accenture, Capgemini, L&T, Infosys, Genpact etc etc. I wish CTS also would have come but it did not.

KIIT makes lot of events. Lot of Quiz competitions, Seminars, Marathons, Fresher Parties, Farewell etc etc.The best highlight is lot of Actor Actress used to come every year for some or the other event.

Its very expensive actually. Luckily due to bank loans and all things have become little feasible. But I wish the cost gets reduced so that more people can get benefited.

I am not sure of scholarships/loans given by the college or the management. They might be giving but I have no idea on the same.I never availed any scholarship from KIIT too.

The Hostel of KIIT - Kings Palace is really superb. Awesome people, awesome food as well. The hostel life was real fun. And I so miss those wonderful days.

We all are in touch through facebook and whatsapp. KIIT is a vast network now and even we have lot of groups through which we are connected. KIIT also does a Alumni Program and we are invited.

We had internal exams, semesters, final terms and many internal exams. During campus, we had GRE Classes and daily exams used to happen. For Lab, the examiners used to help a lot.

They were obviously superb and very intelligent. Few of them were very comic in nature. Some were angry people and no one liked them in real and they always targetted few people.
