Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are designed with 6 trimester based system, Student have to score 50 percent in both internal and external to pass the subject. The first year is comprised of 21 courses while in the second year, there are 17 courses with FRP and SIP Presentation.

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 1390000 per year

Placement Experience

There is a lot of placement opportunity available in LBISM from the Financial sector, Marketing Sector, consulting domain, IT domain, Banking Domain, and new emerging Artificial and Machine learning Domain.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of LBSIM is 1390000 for the academic year 2023 -2025 and the hostel fee is 190000 for the year 2023-2024. It will almost take about 18-20 Lakh to complete a full-time PGDM Program in LBSIM. In the case of part time it will different.

Campus Life

LBSIM does not have a big campus but life at LBSIM is pretty extraordinary with a lot of clubs and sports activities throughout the entire year. They have a major fest TATVA which is organized in the month of February.

Admission

The admission process starts with the shortlisting of the candidates based on their Entrance score ( CAT /XAT /GMAT ) After that go through a group discussion, personal interview, and Extempore. The final shortlisting is based on previous education, work ex, and interview performance.

Interview Experience

Yes, there are stages of shortlisting 1. Based on CAT /XAT /GMAT Marks and 2 Performance in group discussion and personal interview. Generally, group discussions revolved around current affairs and knowledge-based questions.

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
