Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in Electronics things and concepts from my childhood, so I decided to take this course and I chose a bachelor of technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology ( Indian School of Mines ).

Class Size: 135Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have NVCTI that gives us an opportunity on our idea, Basically, we have to submit our idea with proper justification, and after approving our idea for the project we are getting paid for making our own project under the Innovation ferm. The payment is around Rs.6000/-. Professors also take projects by students and we are doing a thesis on it and also we could get paid by them for doing that.

Placement Experience

After the completion of the 7th semester, our placement season is starting. It is starting in the first week of December. But students are doing preparation from starting of the 7th semester. The whole 7th semester is full of coding and questioning round for B.Tech students. We are preparing for that.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay fees on the bases of our category admission. General category students have to pay fees around Rs.100000/- as tuition fees with 15000/- mess & hostel fees as students from SC and ST category students have to pay only mess & hostel fees. And if you belong to OBD, GEN, or EWS category, students are getting 66% off in total fees along with the mess fees.

Campus Life

We are getting quite good fests on campus. Some of them are Srijan, Concetto, Basant, InterIIT sports and cult, and Khanan. We have quite a big library of 7 floors containing lots of books with different branches and topics. All those materials are free for students. We are getting smart classrooms having big touchscreen boards with a projector on them.

Admission

When I was entering the 11th class, I started preparation for that. I was preparing for JEE ADVANCED exam to take admission to IIT Dhanbad. For eligibility for that exam, you should opt subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for that and you should first qualify for JEE Main exam for that.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
