Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in this field. The faculty is good. The college is almost 60 years old. So the faculty we get here are almost senior most professors who are experts in their respective fields.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After 4 years of study, you got to do the internship for 1 year. The stipend is given every month. As I am still in 2nd year I don't have much knowledge about the internship thing. But our seniors say to us that you will get a lot of patients here and you will get a better clinical experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the college is run by the Karnataka government the fee structure is affordable even for low-income families. The fee is 65000/yr. And the students get a scholarship from the government of Karnataka based on their family income and caste. So the fee can be compensated with a scholarship.

Campus Life

We have one of the oldest libraries. The fest is conducted yearly once during the November month on the occasion of Karnataka rajyostava. The event will be conducted by the students and takes place for almost 1 week. It includes all cultures, literature, sports, etc.

Hostel Facilities

1st-year students get to stay in a separate hostel and they have a separate mess. But from 2nd year u get to stay in the senior's hostel and seniors' mess which is too good. We have a food fest conducted in mess every month-end.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

This college has more seats for HK region students under article 371J. This college is chosen mostly by HK region students. So people in the HK region mostly benefitted. And this year 50 more seats have been added.

The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . Remarks:

Since its a new college it is not well recognized by common people and has a common misconception that its a new college so there is no facilities which is just a prejudice. And hospital doesnt have many patients as like in govt setup.
