I chose EE because from this college there is a good chance to go for govt vacancies .teacher student ratio is 1isto60. the faculties are well qualified done b.tech and m.tech from nits and iits. the exam is well held mid sem is after 3 months and u have to prepare well to do well in semester exams

Internships Opportunities

I think the best company that gives a decent package are Wipro and HCl and cisco. they do internships by providing u with emails and links and courses to an internship. I am a first-year student so don't know the process of internships.

Placement Experience

After 4th-semester students are eligible for internship. companies like HCl Wipro npdcl Cisco came here for placement. recently a student got a package of Rs 3000000. About 70% of students get placed. I have planned to UPSC preparation after getting my BTech degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee is too much low as it is a govt college so the fee is low .it's only 37000 .here u get a scholarships like nsp and Pms .the hostel faculty is so good and the hostels are new well managed campus and the facilities

Campus Life

There are many clubs here like CRT(CAMPUS RADIO AND TV CLUB ), Coding clubs and a photography club Here also u can join the nukkad natak club .there is sports event .you can participate in different sports like chess badminton table tennis. here is also a quiz club

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is new and it's 5 floor there is facility of 3 students in one room each give table bed and almirah .the meal facility is also good . quality of food is good .there is common where u can enjoy live matches as there is tv.the process of hostel affordable is easy just to fill hostel form.

Hostel Fee: INR 37000 per year

Admission

A person who has given jee main is eligible for this college. After MJ scorecard you have to do registration for ugeac through best website after this u will get a rank card and your allocated course .after this you have to come to college for counseling and take admission

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in my university. From the 6th semester and onwards you are eligible to get either campus placements or pre placement offers. Larsen and Turbo and Wipro are the major companies which recruit a large no of students from our university. Along with them, Tcs, Cognizant, Dettolite, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, Sony, Unacademy, Byju, Aakash and many other companies have visited our university. A total of 138 offers have been made the previous year and in current year 21 -22 along with me, 91 other students have been placed with a decent package in hand. The highest package is of 14 lakh per annum which was given to a student of it department and average package which was offered till now in present year 21 - 22 is of 5 lakh per annum. 69% of students have got placed, which is so low because many of the students opted for a higher degree or some for general competition or UPSC bpsc and did not sit in the placement drive. Have not decided till.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Civil Engineering in this college because there was a very good scope in future in this branch. In this college faculties and other teaching, staffs are very supportive in nature. The faculty members are more than 50 in this college. All subject teachers are available in this college. As this college comes under TEQIP-3 so guest faculties are also available for extra classes. All faculty's teaching methods are very understandable to students and also faculties help students as they give it best. There are 2-semester exams are held every year and total of 8-semester exams are in this course. The course curriculum is updated from time to time and also it's not easy to pass in semester exams. As this college mentor is IIT BOMBAY so the course structure is same as it is.

firstly i would like to say that your choice of college is only depend on your rank in the merit list provided by the exam authority. and on the basis of your rank only you can choose the college for the counselling, for this you can take the help of previous year merit-based list. and one more important thing is the branch in which you are interested it also plays a vital role in getting the college.when I say that why do I choose this college because I want CSE branch and there are very limited colleges in Bihar with computer science branch and this is among top 5 colleges of Bihar with best management and faculty. Overall infrastructure of the college is not so far good but this college is best because of the education system and desire of learning together of all the students and a friendly environment.

The admission process was not complicated. The eligibility criteria is pretty simple - 10+2 from a CBSE recognised high school or its equivalent followed by NEET examination. Getting a decent score in the NEET exam meant my admission was made possible at the Nalanda College of Engineering.

Everything is good but only thing college is not so spacious and there are lack of faculty in the college. Otherwise college is good.Principal and head of department are also good and well behaved. The college is also providing private security guard at the college gate and also provides well maintained environment.

Some pros and cons of doing BTech from BCE Bhagalpur

For getting into this college you need to search UGEAC councelling then bceceboard website appears. After registration it releases its own rank list on the basis of JEE Mains rank. My JEE Mains rank was 65699 and UGEAC rank was 90. My admission was granted at night ( 12 AM ) as document verification process was too slow, which I think should be improved....Read More

I have applied for nits and iiits and all Bihar state government engineering colleges. And I opted for BCE, Bhagalpur couse the fee structure is really low and it's a good government college. Cut off of an electrical branch in my colleges for general category starts from 88 percentile and goes up to 96 percentile and is done on jee mains marks basis. The admission process was fully offline, you've to attend counselling and fill the required form and complete all given procedures at the college on the given admission day....Read More
