Remarks

The admission process was good and well-mannered. It was simple and disciplined such that we got no problems, and it was executed easily. All the processes were done by an educated and nice professor who helped us. The entrance exam is taken by the Government of Maharashtra, MHT CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum here is very good and every course faculty is good. The members of the faculty helped us and explain us. With the help of teachers, we understand easily. And. we get knowledge and good experience.

Placement Experience

The campus placement here is good and we get good opportunities for the future. Many companies visit and offer made by them are around 4 to 7 lakh per annum. The percentage is around 8.After completing I will go to campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here we fees structure is good such that we all get a good opportunity to get admission. Here we get the opportunity of scholarship so that we can get well fees and opportunities for the future. Here the campus job is good. we get a well-stabled job.

Life is very fresh and we get the opportunity of playing sports like football basketball volleyball and many more. The social is also good and we discuss it. Here many clubs enjoy and encourage us to motivate us. The infrastructure is good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required....Read More

I applied to a few colleges like VIT mumbai, DY Patil Akurdi and Thadomal, i didn't get admission in thadomal and DYP, but i did get admission in VIT Pune, i picked GECA because it's closer to my house.
