Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are approachable and friendly. All faculty are government doctors working in the hospital with qualifications of MD and DM. The teaching is very good in the postings, and in classes, they will be teaching through PPT. We will have exams once per year, they are University exams.. and easy to pass if you study well.

Internships Opportunities

It's a medical College - we have to do an internship in our college for 1 year for which a stipend will be provided. We will get a very good experience and clarity about all departments, and we can decide about our next step like deciding the branch we want to take for post-graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college, and no fee hike will be there. The cost of the study is very less, it costs around 15k -20k. Many students even get a scholarship for that. Scholarships are based on caste, and state government and the national scholarship portal (nsp) are available. We will have one year doing our internship, there we will be provided with a 25k stipend per month.

Campus Life

We will have many fests- Alumni fest in months between Oct to Dec. Tims - sports fest - November, Vyuha - cultural. Many books on all subjects are available in the library. Classrooms have a blackboard, projector, AC, and spacious hall. Sports and cultural are encouraged. Music and dance clubs are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Life in CMC

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
