Preethi Paramedical Institute was established in 2010 by the Blossom Global Trust, Madurai. The institute has been affiliated with Indian Medical Association-Tamil Nadu Branch. Preethi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PIMS) with Allied Health Sciences offers undergraduate and diploma courses in various fields of science. Preethi Hospital Madurai Admission

Students seeking admission in the medical college must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the required course. Candidates who have passed 10th standard are eligible for the diploma courses and students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with biology as a compulsory subject are eligible for the B.Sc courses. One can take the application form from the college by paying a nominal application fee of INR 100.

MBBS is not an easy course to do but with will power and determination it is a course that can be done and understood if one has the ability to concentrate and quickly grasp various topics about the human body. Internal exams are held every 5-6 months and once has to procure at least 33% to qualify for the final examination. An University exam is held at the end of the year the passing criteria for which is kept at 50%.

The course curriculum is pretty good, as it focuses more on practical knowledge. Since the beginning, students get the information of practical. Theoretical classes are done frequently. Being an institute as well as a hospital, the institute gives good experience to students. Scientific demonstration and teaching on the field from Monday to Saturday. Internal Assessment will be based on the test marks, attendance and behavior at clinical settings. As practical test will be conducted in own clinical settings, test timetable would be June for regular and January for extra candidates.
