Remarks

So I applied for a diploma in electronics and telecommunication based on my 12th marks. So there is a cap round based on your percentage. So in my preference Viva college of diploma and engineering is 1st choice and after that vartak college of polytechnic Vasai. In the next process, I visit the college and Enquiry about all facilities which the college provided after that I confirmed my cap round seat paying 22,000rs just because I have reservations so in the OBC category you have to pay half of the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose ENTC FILED because I have been interested in this field for a long time. The electronic equipment and various types of circuits attracted me to choose this field. In my class, there are 60 to 70 students. The teacher's teaching method is good they explain the topic 2 3 times which easily understand. In one semester there are 2 unit tests and one-semester exam and in the final exam, you have 20 marks for the practical and 20 marks for the viva. The syllabus of 1st year is easy compared to 2nd and 3rd year and the Exam is Difficult Not too easy not too difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

So College fees for all students are 43k around. There are SC ST OBC reservations so if the student belongs to any cast then they have to submit their paperwork related to the Reservation. So I belong to OBC CATEGORY so I pay only half of the fees. And SC and ST students got more benefits. In my college, there is no Campus. That is a drawback of the college

Campus Life

3.5

my college we celebrate each and every social worker like Mahatma Gandhi, Savitribai bai Fule and many more people who work their whole life to get a better India. Other than we have an Annual fest called AURA. there are many competitions like a General knowledge Quiz then cricket matches Dance competition and many more.

Other Applied Colleges

Vidyavardhini’s Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic | Diploma in Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering

Beacuse the merits list is high compare to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good. In order to get a good package you must have a good cgpa around 7-8. If you have a good cgpa. You can get a good job offer with a annual pay for 5-6 lakhs. I plan to do btech/be after diploma. That,ll help me get a good placement. I can do btech here only if i manage to get enough percentage in my final year. If i couldn't i plan to get admission in keystone school of engineering which is a good college for engineering degree. Mostly infotech and proazure hire the most. There are other companies too. Around 60 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Rating of course curriculum of my college (PCP) the scale :- 1-5 | 5 = Excellent. • Relevance - 3.5/5(industry aligned but need modernization). • Comprehensiveness - 3/5(Cover basics but lacks interdisciplinary depth) Key aspects influencing course :- 1). Technical foundation - core engineering discipline(mechanical, civil, computer, etc)with a focus on fundamental skill. 2). Practical training - labs, workshop and internship linked to local industries. 3). Affordability and accessibility - polytechnic program at PCP are cost- effective and provide early entry into technical careers. My college has a robust foundation for technical education but requires strategic update to stay competitive.

Placement Experience:

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the heart of a student’s college or advanced learning experience. Curriculum is a college or university’s primary means of guiding students directions. Curricula should be reviewed and revised on a regular basis, better to serve the changing needs of both students and society. We are often urged to reassess the quality of our curricula. Faculties are responding to this challenge by turning their attention to long neglected issues. They are doing so as a practical means of both attracting and retaining more students, ensuring their success, and producing high quality, fair outcomes for everyone.
