Remarks

Good: Lots of extra activities and fun events, Bad: No strict rules and management are sometimes unapproachable.

Entrance Preview

GujCET, BITSAT, AIEEE, VITEEE, SRMJEE, IITJEE. The college admission was based on result of GujCET and the reason for choosing this college was it provided for a within city approach and that was helpful as my mother was really ill at that time.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Average, the electives are chosen by the college itself no choice by the students and hence it might become useless. Though sometimes they choose the right ones. Sometimes they organise trips but all are really helpful and everyone should them irrespective of how busy you are.. those are fun.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college doesn't provide for internship though some of my friend made a project on improvement of the college working, but the projects were poorly graded, however they provide for external internships and help in obtaining one if you are unable to get one on your own.

Placement Experience

2.5

The option for internship is abundant and the college is helpful on that front but the same cannot be true about placement as they cannot muster enough student for the placement drives and hence end up on bad side of MNCs. Merchant Navy - 3LPA General Meditech - 2.5LPA

College Events

4.5

Technical - GTU organises the technical fest for all the GTU affiliated colleges through out the state Cultural - Panache is the cultural event of the college and is usually held in the even semester and has a celebrity singer performing each year. They are planning to get Mohit Chauhan this year maybe.. it will be fun to attend if the event occurs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible and one of the lowest one during my time but the fees have been hiked up before it was around 28000 per semester, having heard a rumour that it has been doubled is also true. But not sure about the current status. Though the books can be availed for much less from Gandhi Pool however the stationary inside the campus is very costly and yet crowded

Fees and Financial Aid

The college doesn't have any provision for that but the request can be made to the principal however that is not sure to achieve any positive response however the usual caste based scholarships are available under the GTU site and also for students who come from poor financial background.

Campus Life

1.5

Gender ratio is as can be seen in the engineering colleges generally. More boys to less girls in Mechanical while more girls to boys in IT or computer, college doesn't have politics but the NSUI and ABVP elections are organised . Economical strong but doesn't investment in infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The college didn't have the hostel facility of its own. The mess however was a messy one before with almost no choice available, but the canteen is handed over to private players and now the rates are roof soaring plus the food quality is not worth the rate

Alumni/Alumna

Some of the seniors are helpful but it cannot be said for all as some of them are bully but was just to show their power, once you unite the the seniors back off and you would be friends with them in no time.. the alumni network is being started up but hasn't heard from them yet

Exam Structure

The exam structure varies based on the mood of the management. Sometimes it is 2 internal and one external, sometimes it is 3 internals and one semester, however the internal marks are taken best of two so if you have scored full in first you may bunk the second time.

Admission

Got the form from pnb for GujCET, appeared for GujCET exam, after result announcement document verification by GTU, filing for seats on GTU website, approached bank to pay the security or admission fee of GTU application form at college student corner and filed for seat. That would be all.

Faculty

2.5

The faculties are good and very helpful, plus almost all have proper education required for the particular courses. Though some might be rude and carry attitude. Some of the faculties are really worried about the performance of the students while some are busy having fun on the college trips.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
