Truth about IET LUCKNOW

Institute of engineering and technology (IET) popularly knowns as Engineering college in Lucknow city, provides admission to the b.tech through Jee/main score while in m.tech Gate score is acceptable. our Institutes also accept lateral entry admission for diploma holders, they get admission directly in 2nd year of the b.tech course in all branches of B.tech. Candidates have to register for the counseling process on websites of Upsee and then have to perform all steps as directed by the rules, Yes, reservation is available as per according UGC, For example in our ECE branch, some of our batchmates of ranks in thousand got admission because they applied their caste certificate during counseling, reservation is perfectly applied in IET, If we talk about further development in our college, then according to me, yes it is necessary to build/construct a lot of things like completion of sport complex , and I hope it will in theupcoming few months, but infrastructure available for today

I chose this college because I was not getting admission to proper good IITs and NITs with proper branch,so that's why I preferred IET Lucknow, it's also the Rank 1 college of AKTU and rank 6 in Uttar Pradesh. The faculty of IET is very supportive and helpful in each and every aspect the used tohelp in completing any type of project for students and also they contribute a lot to getting internship and placements in top companies, usually our HOD and professors used to conduct seminar session with our successful alumni of IET Lucknow, Qualifications of all faculty are very high most of them are PhD degree holder and M.tech also from top National colleges of India like IITs, NITs etc, they have deep knowledge in al most every topic in their branch . In one semester there are two CTs used to conduct, here CT is Class Test and one make-up ct also conduct for those who arabsent in any first or second ct for any solid reason, and one End semester Exam and the Practical exam with Viva-voice.

Trilogy , Scaler, Hero, Goldman Sachs, Bytelearn, GFG, etc many companies used to give internships after conducting their proper many rounds of tests and interviews, In the start of my second year, I did an internship in Arduino in my electronics department, and end up by creating a robot which works on the programming of aurdino and I attached 5 line follower sensor, so these project I created after the completion of internship provided from our college.

From the 7th semester placements of our college start, many students from final used to get placements, and even in 3rd year many students get very good amount paying stipend companies, like Google, Microsoft , scaler, gfg , Paytm, share chat, etc, Tcs is major among all placements companies My plans after getting the degree is to get placement in any big MNC and will job either in India or abroad.

The fees for B.tech is around 90k per year and for self-finance branch like CSE-AI,IT the fees if around 1.2 lacs per year, in IET Lucknow we get scholarships as per the rule of government of Uttar Pradesh and it is around 55-60 k and hostel fee is 14500 for a whole year and 17000 mess fees per semester and additional fees of INR 4000 in name of management committee even if compare with other colleges it's fees is not too much high as per facility provided by the institute.

Campus life is very cool and feels like refreshment every day in the fresh and energetic air of green and beautiful campus, in our college, there are many techs and cultural events used to conduct by seniors and faculty such as Ankuran from Robotics club, Advent, Tantransh from computer science department and many more. The library is very big and it contains all most all books for the semesters and a lot of the latest newspapers and research papers etc. The sports culture is very popular, many teams from different sports like football, badminton, and cricket students used to participate in zonal sports festivals, and many times they bought winning trophies. YAP application available on play store, designed and created by one of our Alumni Shivam Jain sir(CSE-2006) , on this application we can contact almost all alumnus of our college .

The hostel facilities are very good, each student gets hostels whatever his rank or semester marks are. Quality and quantity of meal are good as per money they are charging , all nutrition, vitamin we can get just after eating mess food ,after admission , the college will allot the rooms of hostel randomly , but if someone already selected their roommate then they will give them room according to them , for fresher a hostel of name RAMANUJAM used to allot by college . Faculty of ramanujam hostel is too good , their students gets all basics needs require for students. but even these all facility provided by college , some students waana take pg/rented room they can also free to take these , perhaps in 1 km range goods room/pg are available.
