ENTRANCE EXAM is JEE Advance. Once cleared, you are supposed to sit for JOSAA Counselling. The details are available on the internet and are notified to JEE-cleared students through mail and messages. A list of choices based on ranks is to be filled giving priority to which college you want to go to. Once seat allocation is done 35000 is to be paid as a seat acceptance fee.

The course is not very hectic and so a lot of time for extracurricular activities. The course load is less so there are opportunities to explore other domains also. There are opportunities for core sector jobs as well as noncore domains. There are 156 students in one class. All the professors have done Ph.D. and also work experience in the US. Review exams and quizzes are organized from time to time as well as the term exams are easy to pass if studies are done sincerely.

There are around 150 companies offering internships for 2nd and 3rd year students. These include core as well as non core opportunities. The stipends also range from 30000 to lakhs per month. Opportunities in SDEs, core as well research opportunities.

Students become eligible for placements starting from 7 th semester till 8th semester. Around 200 companies offer jobs to students for placements. Around 90 percent of students are placed. Some go for higher education and some sit for off-campus placements.

The fee for the semester is around 1 lakh 15 thousand. Fees hike is decided by government policies and mess food fees are one of the most affordable among all universities. There are scholarship opportunities. The institute has an Alumni fund that gives scholarships to incoming students as well as there are several other foundations contributing to the same.

The student body organizes Kashiyatra every year and is the second-largest fest in north India. It is organized in January and is a three-day event. The tech fest also attracts students from all universities across India. The library in the institute is spacious and one can find books on all subjects. There are over 60 Clubs run by the student body hence a lot of opportunities for extracurricular activities.

Hostelers are provided with study tables, LAN and almirahs. Mess food is very affordable. They provide with all kinds of vegetables, salads and rice. Documents such as Adhar card, passbook, and fee receipts are required for hostel Registration.
