Not a great college, but can be a choice

Donot join this institution. It will be an end to your career. Not at all recommend.

OJEE- 172 RANK. I DID NOT CHOOSE THIS COLLEGE. I GOT THIS COLLEGE THROUGH ONLINE COUNSELLING. Its rank is also good in the overall ranking of colleges.

The curriculum is formed by bput Rourkela and is strictly maintained by the institution. No research work is promoted by the college and very limited resources in the lab. So one is unable to enhance the creative process. You have to be self sufficient in order to carry out research works.

No, the college doesnot provide any type of internship program. These sometimes are quite irritating during the course.

There is very little or no placement opportunities. The college even takes the estimated first salary from the students in order to get them placed. The college even conducts fake placement to make the percentage of students placed high. In terms of placement the college is not good.

Cultural fests, technology​ fest, sports fest, UN council, drama etc are some festivals being organised in the college. College has various sports teams such as basketball team, volleyball team, cricket team, kabaddi team. College also has few pc gaming team such as counter strike, NFS etc

College fees is comparatively low. It costs are around ​4lakh excluding hostel fees and other charges to complete four years in the college. But there are many outstanding fees that are being charged by the college administration. Many hidden fees and charges are applied

No, there is no scholarship or loan facility available in college. But the state government provides some scholarship to the under privileged students in order to complete their education

Hostel has two and three bedded rooms with attached bathroom. Furniture provided by the administration include separate bed, study table, chair, and rack. Hostel provide 24hr internet connection and a very bad quality of typically odia food. Mess workers don't understand any language other then odia so communication is very difficult.

There is zero alumni network and senior students assistance. There is a zero ragging but also the college lacks in any senior junior interaction other then in fests.

There are three internal exams followed by a semester exam. Teachers are aloowed to do marking in internal exams and papers of semester exam is chrcked by other institution's faculties. Fetching marks in BPUT's semester exams is very difficult and thus very low scores are achieved.

I took the entrance exam conducted by ojee and appeared in the online counselling and did document verification and took admission using general procedure. The institute is located in bhubaneswar. So it is near a town. So finding the college was not a difficult task.

There are very limited faculties with limited knowledge in the relative field. Only few faculties with over 10 years experience. College principal and the head of department are having good experience in their field. Laboratory assistants are of great help.
