Remarks

For Admission, To CG private engineering college we have to give the PET entrance exam. I belong to the OBC category so I get a benefit in cutoff marks. Simply you can search in google for the CGPT entrance exam where you get the application link.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members were very supportive. There are at least 8 faculty in each department. Most faculties were Ph.D. Holders. The teaching method is very good. We have to clear 2 semesters each year. The level of the exam is moderate.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The placement cell is very good. They give us an internship opportunity. We should also have to search for campus internship opportunities for more benifits. Throughout the course, we have to make one minor and one major project for placement benefits.

Placement Experience

From seven semesters students will be getting placement. There are many big tech and non-tech companies visited every year on campus. The highest package was offered 700000 and the average package is 400000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The full-time course fee for four years is 300000. The reserved candidates get benefits of scholarships from the Chhattisgarh state government. The campus jobs are good. Many companies visited each year and the average package is 400000.

Campus Life

The annual fest and tech fast is held every year in January last week. There are lots of books in the library for various courses. There is a smart classroom in each department. Every year sports activities were held.

Life at GEC Raipur

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the placement starts. Till now around 30-40 snrs have placed. All the good snrs I know and have already been placed. Companies like- Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, JSL, JSPL, JWL, netarwala, Amazon, Dassault System, Reliance, phonepe, Deloitte, come to our college.

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

NIT Raipur Review: Where knowledge meets real world engineering.

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl,bhel,bhel,reliance,catterpillar,eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.
