Remarks

MHT-CET marks are accepted for admission, I scored 90%ile and got Computer Engineering in this college, Application form, application fees and Application dates were announced by mht-cet and I followed it accordingly, I opted for the EWS seat from which I have to pay only 50% of college tution fees. The admission process is smooth and the pc they use for the same was worst in condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science was something which excited me the most for the career, and I hoped that the faculty should be good but, the teacher has practical knowledge seriously, they literally know how to code this problem, and they are good for theory.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike is going to happen as the college has been promoted by NAAC from A to A++ which is a good grade. Assistance is good and overall staff members related to management are also good, Many scholarships like EWS SC ST TFWS Are given, you just need government certificates for that.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is just one building for the Engineering college, the Wadia campus is good, crowd is desi and not of that level, one single ground for 7 colleges , library is amazing (best library ) you get every book all time in library .

An Honest Insight into Life at My College

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at my college is really good. It is getting better all the time. At my college students can start getting ready for internships and placement training from the semester. Then most of the full-time job opportunities start coming up in the semester. A lot of students at my college get something called Pre-Placement Offers or PPOs for short through internships before the actual placement season starts at my college. My college students get these PPOs. It is a big help to them. Placement, at my college is a deal and my college students take it very seriously. A lot of known companies come to the campus every year. The main companies that hire people from the campus are NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank. Some companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini hire a lot of people from the campus. These companies, NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank are really good at finding the people for the job. Companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini also give jobs to students. The Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 are looking good far. We have had some results. The highest package offered to a student is 45 LPA. The median salary is 9.5 LPA. This is a sign because it means that most students are getting a decent salary. 86.3 Percent of students have been placed so far. The average package is different for each company and role. For example a software developer will get a package than an analyst or a data engineer. Students who get the paying roles usually have strong coding skills. They also have projects to show and they do well in their technical interviews and in Data Structure and Algorithms which we call DSA for short. VIT Pune: Balanced Academics, Good Placements & Active Campus Life.

Placement Experience:

pracemnets at vit pune are quite good, with students becoming eligible from 7th semester. manu reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizenat, Deloitte , Wipro visit campus every year and make large number of offers across technical and non technical roles. The avarage pacakage ranges from 5-6LPA while the highest package goes up to 30 +LPA. Around 80-85% students gets placed every year.

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.

Top engineering college in pune

Every student need to go through the cap round consuling to get admission through their merits/rank. Total 3-5 cap round take place, and you are allowed to fill the choices of college you want to apply, you can freeze the college of first round you wanted to apply and go for betterment in next round, you can also opt out or make final decision in any round. I have applied for multiple college but taken this as it was near to my location, have good infrastructure, supporting staff, high placement ratio, large albuminy network.... Other college were too long, from 2-3 of them I got rejected by merit, I not wanted to take admission through management/donation quota. College were excepting the admission through management/donation quota, state level counsiling, exam excepted were jee main, advance, mht-cet for home state candidate. Cutoff for mht-cet were above 97 percentile for general category and for outside state candidate like me it was jee main cutoff was90-91 percentile.
