Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of 4 years plus one year of internship. It is one of the most prestigious institutes and provides quality education. The teachers here are well-educated and the majority of them have done their post-graduation from well-reputed institutes. The institute has all the basic appliances that are required for the course. Exams are on yearly basis and you can pass them easily if you were attentive throughout the year.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides on-campus internships with a stipend. The internship is of one year and it makes you sharp for the upcoming opportunities of your life. The internship is provided to every student who clears his final year exam. After college, one can either prepare for post-graduation or can open a clinic.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees have increased quite a bit but are still under budget. The government provides scholarships for reserved candidates. There is a one-year internship where we get a stipend. There are no on-campus jobs after graduation.
Campus Life
During October, the university conducts an annual conference which includes both cultural and educational activities. We have a full-fledged library and cafeterias. A fully air-conditioned reading hall is also present. We have sports grounds and courts for different sports. The campus has its drama club, cricket club, and cultural club in general. Students actively take part in different quizzes and events organized by the college and university. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have facilities of a projector and whiteboard. Labs are equipped with all the necessary equipment.
Hostel Facilities
PGIMS has separate hostel complexes for both boys and girls. Hostel rooms are spacious and furnished. There is enough room for two people. By the third year, we get single rooms and they are super spacious and super nice. A mess facility is available in each hostel. The food is good and there's a cafeteria nearby which is also affordable. You get sweet dishes in mess twice or thrice a week and there's something special on a plate on Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon. Registration for a hostel isn't hectic and you get your room keys on the same day you register or fill out the form. Very few people opt for PGs as hostels are good enough.
