Remarks

There is a competitive exam named NEET NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST, after getting a good rank in that(mine was 1219 in adm yr 2019) we can opt to govt medical Colleges like pgims Rohtak. But the problem in taking admission in recent times is that there is a bond policy under which the pupil has to serve in the government sector for a period of 7 years that's too long. And on top of that, the government is not taking responsibility to provide jobs. So overall my recommendation is to see elsewhere of Haryana if you can.

I have always wanted to become a doctor that's why I choose this course I got a good rank so I qualified to be a doctor in one of the government medical Colleges. There are a lot of departments and because post-graduation is also there in pgims Rohtak, this creates a good teacher-to-student ratio. The best thing about the teaching method is clinical rotations which change monthly.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are no separate companies who will hire us for internships. Because college itself will provide us with clinical rotations for our internship. It's great to correlate every theoretical thing clinically.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, I got admitted to this dream college of students. And it feels were 54000+23000(hostel) which was a nominal amount of money to pay. But there is a fee hike in recent years, under which you have to sign a bond of rupees 40 lacs (now negotiated to 30lacs).

Campus Life

The annual fest of pgims Rohtak is named ARMSCON Annual Rohtak Medical Students Conference. There are clubs for every activity like the l am club dance club music club dramatics club. And for sports, I would say it depends on the students like rn pgims the cricket team is good and it plays in many intercollege fests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure. Admission into the college is based on the neet ug counseling, both state and aiq Neet is the only acceptable exam Cutoff varies yearly, however upto 9k air in state quota and 3k in aiq can get you into this college.
