Life in Engineering College

every where some good and also some bad things , my college is overall good if they provide research Opportunity and they provide education practically. because Engineering is 80% depend on Practical .

I'm appeared in AIEEE AND State engineering entrance examination , but I'm getting in admission through state engineering entrance examination and based on my score i fill online counseling form and select college and branch and after online counseling I'm getting this particular college, which is one of I'm selecting during filling form.

Course structure is divided in semester basis, in a year 2 semester is held . we have 6 particular subjects and 4 practical and 2 class test organize in a semester. total marks is 1000.I'm not telling lie . in my college research activity is only 20 %. they not focused on research and even help us. if we trying to do some new and creative they said that'' budget is not available for this and please focus on your study. this is response by our faculty member .

in my college college and also Faculty are not much interested in Internship . for Academics it's mandatory summer training of 1 month in 5th and 7th semester.

I'm frequently said , placement is not good is my college . lots of companies are coming for placement but 60 % are fake companies and other 40% are non engineering companies like BPO and KPO. so placement is so bad in my college. some companies are demanding money for training period.

Every year a state level technical and culture event'' samvid'' is organize, in this lots of events are organize like paper presentation , robotics , dance , debates , fashion show etc. we also organize krishna janamstami and other holy festivals like dandia nights during durga pooja. when we enter in Branch seniors organize ''Fresher party'' for us. apart from this Branch events is also organize by particular branch.

Fee structure is flexible, we summit fee semester wise. when i was study total academics fees is 45k for a year which is divided in 2 semester and university examination fees around 1k. there is not much pressure to summit fee, they accept it within 10 days without late fees.

Loan facility not available in my college , scholarship is not provided in my college , during counseling to getting admission if you are opener of Particular Branch , you are getting scholarship like you don't have to pay academics Fee. this scheme for that students whose family income is not more than 3 lakh.

In my college gender ration is good , i think 55:45 ration of boy and girls. our seniors organize welcome parties for us when we enter in particular domain. in our college social activities are held and in my campus annual function ''samivid '' is organize every year . which is state level events , during this robotics , debates , dance , craft ,and lots of activities organize. my college is also participated in university annual game which is held in university every year. in my college politics not allowed , this is the reason we don't have student union.

I'm not living in my Hostel , I'm localize. but some f my friends are living in hostel and some time we are getting chance to taste the food of hostel mess. food is not better , it's average they charge 40k for a year for food and accommodation with fees when I was study . they provide one day special in mess and Sunday is off in mess. so my friends come to my house for this.

my college Establish in year 2008, ism 3 rd batch pass out of my college. my seniors are good and they provide help in academics and other things because we are new in college , so in this matter seniors are very helpful they help us when we need .

Exam is semester wise, in a year 2 semester are held with marks of 1000 of each. apart from that 2 class test is also held in a semester , there marks is consider in university exam. labs exam is also included , the worst thing in my college or university exam and class test is organize is same week, so it's so hectic for us to manage this.

I'm getting admission through PET(pre engineering test ) which is organized by state .after filling online form and counseling I'm getting that college. after getting confirmation from examination board , i was going to particular college during admission date scheduled by College. college faculty is very kind nature and they help us each point and they provide complete help to filling form and other documents and first semester fees. after they verify my documents original with xerox copy they accept it and said '' summit first semester fees ''. after we summit fee, they provide fee slip and they call us when classes starts.

Faculty's of my college is not so Qualified , some are recent pass out students of College. some faculty have Just B.E(Bachelor of Engineering) degree. some are study in M tech and they involved in teaching as well. , so they are also not much experience . they only complete academics syllabus. i was earlier said that college and Faculty are not Involved in new research and they not provide any help to us.
