Remarks

In GCT you can enter only through the counseling process by the Tamilnadu government and you need the best cutoff to get seats in GCT, There are reservation benefits for some castes, Admission process is well planned by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose the course because I got it in counseling that is it and till I don't know what the course full meaning but you will get a job because well teaching faculty are here and some close faculty are here, exams are conducted 2 months once and it is considered as internal marks.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is more internship you can attend but you must complete one internship in 3rd and 4th year, so many companies give intent for gct, Recently an internship was held that a bicycle is running with solar power.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is good in this college. So many people choose college only for good placement. Samsung, Zoho, Bosch, etc. There are more companies visited with a better salary, Don't worry about placements, It is good.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Tamilnadu, you can't able to find less than the college fees as in the government college of technology. Yes GCT is the only college in Tamilnadu that has fewer college fees. Women students can Pragati scholarships for every year and community scholarships available for all students

Campus Life

4.5

After Covid now only programs are started and yesterday one big function was conducted. There are so many clubs for extra curriculum activities, and good sports facilities, the clubs are run by students only, simply the college is run by students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Average facility for a government college hostel, Don't expect too much. Because it is a government college but they are giving their best, the same menu for a total of 3 years (only for boys) and the same menu for a total of 4 years (and this for girls).

Other Applied Colleges

Government College of Engineering - [GCE] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Metallurgical Engineering)

I got in government college of technology so I didn't chose it

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
