Remarks

The admission process is better than other colleges. There are certain eligibility criteria for a certain field such as for Computer Science Engineering merits are high while for Mechanical it is low. We can get the application form and admission details from the college office itself. It needs to require to pay a small amount. We can get reservation benefits as per government guidance.

As I want to do a career in this course I choose it. The number of students is more. The faculty are all good graduates. Most of them are passout members of Kolhapur Shivaji University. All are the best in their teaching. Exams are semester wise and it is taken strictly.

Internships Opportunities

The internship quality is nice. Many companies like Texas, and Amazon give internships. Companies from abroad also give internships. They provide funding to students for their different inventions. Students of this college have invented vaccine storage boxes for covid, flying car experiments, etc.

Placement Experience

College placements are good. Many big companies such as Infotech, Texas are available for placement. In my opinion, 40% of students get placement. It will vary from course to course. On an average Job, placement is good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees vary as per the course. On average yearly fee is 70000-90000 Rupees. Scholarships are available from the government. So one can get a concession in fees. Even scholarships are available for open categories too. I am still studying but as per reviews of others, job placement is good on average.

Campus Life

Many annual events are held for students like gatherings, sports, information sessions, etc. The Library of college is enough big and most of the books we need are easily available. The environment of the collage is also good. Classrooms have boards, benches, tables, screens, etc. College also supports external sports events.

Best Engineering college, excellent placement, and best opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Placement are best of D Y Patil College of engineering and technology kolhapur. After 6 th semester you are eligible to do internship and give interview for job offers. Highest package offered by company is 64 LPA and it is Adobe . Minimum packages offered are 6-7 LPA . approximately 70-80% of students get placed on campus. Companies that come to college for hiring are Adobe, juspay, infosys, gpay, google, amazon, microsoft etc

Students generally become eligible for campus plaecments from the 6th sem onwards. Companies that visited ourr college are TCS ,EagleBite , Mahindra, Softanic, etc. Around 10 to 15 offers were made . HIghest package was 7 lpa lowest packsge was 2.5 lpa average package was 3 lpa Profiles include software developer, business analyst,product developer etc I plan to pursue a job as a software developer.

Insights of DYPIU

Placement Experience:

Since i am just a first year student, i dont have any real knowledge of placements here. So i will just tell you what i am aware about. Talking to few of the seniors made me realise that placements are not that strong here. But still the average package is 5LPA and the highest package offered is 27LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is not much. My plans are of trying for off campus placements if not placed on campus.

Repetition and ranking one ki reason for student my chosen won college or another is over all repetition on ranking of the institute for example a college that is well regarded specific engineering field example computer science civil engineering might be more attractive hi ranked college of 10 have better is resource strong faculty and breadth aluminium network.
