Admission is based on your jee mains rank and admission is taken by aktu counselling method. Cut off ranking for general and Obc candidate for cs, cs ai , cs sf is 40000. It is ranked 1st in all the AKTU colleges as itself is the constituent institute of the AKTU. As compared to fee top NITs, it's not that good but it is much better then those newly open NITs and lowers NITs. It is one of the best state government colleges and has a very active training and placement cell which actively works for getting companies to college for placements.
