Entrance Preview
I took the NID Entrance Test. MITID was the only design college I could opt for since all other college application deadlines were past. I decided very late that i wanted to get into design and not engineering or medicine. I don't remember my exact score but I topped the personal interview as well as the studio round.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was available in the booklet given to us during admission as well it was available on the college website. The courses were very well defined, with each semester the bar being raised so that proper knowledge enhancement was done for the students. Each module had its own section for research.
Placement Experience
We have 77% placement in our college minimum every year. The only Fashion Design Institute to have such placement records. Overall, almost all the students get a job after college and some go onto start their own businesses. I have not been placed yet, so i do not know. General packages are 2.5 lpa-7 lpa.
Campus Life
Campus Life at MITID is great because the people are very accepting of one another. 90% of MITID is girls. We have theatre music sports literary and a few other clubs that students can join and take part in. We have an annual inter MITID fest for extra curricular activities. There are people from every walk of life and they are all accepted here.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is very experienced and friendly. They are amazing at what they do and very knowledgeable. The senior faculty also has great contacts that help the students. More than anything they are very understanding and open minded and students can talk to them about anything.
