Remarks

There was a national entrance test, NEET UG. The application form is released on the official website mcc.nic.in the application form fee is 1500 for gen and obc and 750 for sc/st. If any reservation is claimed, then the cutoff of the college is significantly lowered by 100-130 marks to general cutoff marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course is mbbs. There are 120 students in each batch and a hod, 2-3 associate professors and 2-3 tutors are there for each department. The faculties are quite qualified. The exams are not properly timed though due to delays in the management of many colleges under the same university. The course is often delayed.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You can complete your internship in the hospital associated with the college itself and located inside the college campus. The internship duration is of 12 months and you will get a stipend of 20000 per month! After completing the internship you can get a job as a junior resident in the government hospitals of the state.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite low compared to the fees of other colleges for the same course. You can study the full course at an average expense of 4 lacs for 5.5 yrs! In addition to that, there are several scholarship benefits provided by the state government by which you can save your coaching fees of approx 20K.

Campus Life

3.5

In my college, you can play cricket, Volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and football. However, there are no clubs or other social groups run by students. There are college fests and other events celebrated in my college. I would say that campus life is peaceful away from the crowd and noise of the city. There are plenty of books and journals in the library which you can borrow for a limited time.

Hostel Facilities

4

You will be provided a room which you will have to share with another person until the 4th year. In the internship, you will get a single room. You will get a bed, a table, and a chair. There is no electricity bill so you can buy yourself an a.c.if you want. There are 3 messes on the campus. The food provided is just okay, there are varieties of dishes but the taste seems to be missing except on few days. If you want to rent a room Or pg you can do so but you will bear the extra price. You will easily find a room in the nearby streets.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

As it is a medical college, no amount of lectures would suffice for you to clear the exams unless you're doing self studies. Content taught in classes is satisfactory. Additional plans from Marrow or Prep are needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
