More than expectation

For college management my remark is they should advertise more for college and also college infrastructure is quite good but there is lot of scope for improvement of infrastructure.

Admission is done by comedk and karnataka cet exam for admission students rank should be below 30000 in comedk And near to 40000 in karnataka cet.

Ms engineering college provides BE course for 5 branches of engineering:- 1. Computer science engineering (cse) 2. electronics and communication engineering (ece) 3. Civil engineering 4. Electrical and electronics engineering (eee) 5. Mechanical engineering I was an ece branch student and for ece branch it has a very good r&d centre. The r&d is the nodal centre for vtu in VLSI design . Other branches also have quite good r&d facility.

The training and placement department of our college provides internship opportunities to 3rd year students. Eligible candidates r provided internships of 3 months duration.

Placements in ece department and cse department were huge in 2017 years it was near to 82%. Students were placed in companies like IBM,Tech Mahindra,Hinduja global solutions, mileople technologies, collabera technologies and many more. JusPay visited our college with salary package of 12 lacs per year. For eee and mechanical students core companies visited were nandi Toyota, mecton group of technologies Qatar. Other than this mechanical and eee students got placed in companies like arrtech solutions, tholons technologies, geotel .

College has different events but it's main cultural event is nakshatra which held on every year on April. Each semester college celebrates ethnic day. There are several branch events for every branch . Ece (technitude) , cse (cs hub) , mechanical (mechnista). International womens day , yoga day and engineering day r also celbrated in college. Fresher's day and graduation day is also celbrated in college.

In comparison to other colleges in Bangalore providing same VTU degree and same type of placement, Ms engineering college fees is much low and feasible. Cet fees : 60000/year Comedk fees : 170000/year Management quota: 1.5lacs for 1st year and after that 1lacs/year

J&k students gets aicte scholarship. Obc , sc &ST students get scholarship. Students who excells in academics r awarded with scholarships

Campus life is quite cool out of city traffic with very lush green campus and on campus bakery and canteen for food . Total gender ratio is 40-60 . In cse and ece branch girls r more in comparison to boys . There r no intolerance in the college. Peaceful place with peaceful peoples. 1st year students gets fresher's party from seniors in a classy hotels .

College has on campus boys and girls hostel . Hostel fees is 60000 per year . I have stayed in hostel for 3 years being a north indian meals were not liked by me but was audible and cleanliness was good. Hostel rooms have attached bathrooms and cupboards . Playground and gym is provided with a lush green campus

In facebook we r always in contact with our alumnis and they are really helpful for academics and project queries. Every nakshatra alumni meet is held on college.there we can meet our alumnis.

The exam structure is of VTU . The BE course consists of 8 semester exams with 6 theory and labs each semester. Each semester there are 3 internals for theory and 1 internal exam for labs. And 1 month holiday after each semester exams. Semester exams timetable is of vtu .

I neither wrote comedk or karnataka cet exams in 2013. I got admission in this college through management quota. Direct admission procedure is very easy but it can be a bit costly. Other than this students can take admission through counselling procedures. For karnataka cet students the course fee would be near to 60000 for comedk it will be near to 1.7lacs per year. For management quota it would be like 1.5lacs for 1st year and then 1 lacs per year of course. So instead of comedk student can take admission through management quota will be cheap and fast process.

Since I was an ece student I can tell u in ece department there r more female faculties and less male faculties. The male faculties are very good and humble whereas female faculties are quite strict but helpful in nature. All assistant professors are mtech or ms peoples whereas associate professors r either pursuing PhD or have completed PhD . All department hods r PhD or mphill .
