Remarks

The admission process is so hectic and you have to carry all documents in a systematic manner and then wait for your turn to verify them during the counseling in every college you get be it by state quota or all India quota. It can be made rather easy by reviewing the documents only once whenever possible. Also, enough time should be given in case any document turns out to be invalid or outdated.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Exams are mostly on time. There are 3 semester or internal exams in a year followed by University or professional exams. 1st semester of the year is a bit delayed but the rest semesters and proffs are on time and with respect to saving the time lost due to COVID. Exams are not that easy that one can pass easily. We need to start studying at least a week before the paper. Thanks to the supportive seniors who help us in providing the hit topics. Also, practical exams and viva are real nightmares. But after study is the sole thing which we are expected to do here.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Once the final year of the course is over, everyone is placed to work in hospital OPD or emergency with changing shifts or departments after a regular time interval. This internship is the best way to get exposed to various activities a doctor does in his daily life. Also, the stipend is in a good range of 20000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government medical College, the fee is not that much. The 1st-year fee charged to me in 2020 was 20300 which includes an academic charge, maintenance charge, and hostel charge. professional examination fee was 5300 and the 2nd-year fee is 16500 which includes the hostel fee in it. you can get scholarships through various student schemes via state or national government like student credit cards and Bihar Rajya chhatrvritti yojana. Once you complete your final year of the course, a stipend of 20000 is provided per month for duty in OPD and emergency in the hospital.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus is very friendly and once get obsessed with the beauty of the campus. The best thing about the college lies in its infrastructure, the best in the state. Social life is also good. There is a good pattern of understanding between seniors and juniors. students support each other in various activities which happen all around the year. Sports events, festivals, and college foundation days are worth mentioning. Literary clubs and self-help clubs like "Bhaukaal group" also work for getting things better day by day.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
