Remarks

The admission process is very clear. The college conducts Admission on a merit basis in which you have scored 12th Standards. Eligibility of the course: You must have an overall 50% and a particular subject 60%. Reservations are available(overall 40% and particular 50%). The application process is conducted online and the form fee is: is 100. I don't think it has to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well defined like the pan Indian level so that every student can compete with all India level students. Our faculty members are very good, experienced, cognizant, and prudent. I have chosen the course because I like Mathematics subject. Our department ( Mathematics) has a total of 6 associate professors and 4 guest teachers and the cumulative students are approx. 170. Out of 6 associate professors, 4 are done Doctor of Philosophy and others are Masters. Two internal exams happen within a semester and the question level is moderate and it is not so difficult to pass the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very simple. Our college charges minimum fees that include one part- exam registration fees another part- maintenance fees like lab, electricity, computer, etc. I think there is no the opportunity for a scholarship because neither our department nor our college provides any scholarships or financial assistance. Anyway, it is a general degree college so no chance of a campus job. I got a scholarship from west Bengal. government.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was so memorable. Like every college, our college also has some great infrastructures like a library, gym khana, basketball playground, and football playground auditorium, etc. The college conducts an annual fest once a year, not a month and it is especially known as a cultural program. There are so many books and journals in the library. Amenities are available in classrooms. Already I have mentioned the extracurricular activities. There is no social group or club or website that is run by students. Yes, like every college our college has a student union (political basis).

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance as moderately relevant. My decision to choose this course was primarily influenced by its research learning facility and practical based learning. The curriculum helps each individual to prepare for further comepetitive exams and expanding their jobs option with full and profound knowledge of data based works and computer skills. To enhance the course curriculum and teaching methods , I would suggests dedicating deep learning with lots of real life examples, updating the syllabus to recent advancements Providing recorded lectures would be of so much help and providing more opportunities for students to present their work giving them detailed feedback would improve the skills and learning capacity of the students.

Students get placement offers in the first year of M.Stat. In general, however, most students prefer to go abroad for higher studies. Students who sit for placements mostly get placed in Finance and Analytics companies, typically in Business Analyst, Risk Analyst and other roles. ISI has a 100% placement record for B.Stat- M.Stat students. Companies like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co., JP Morgan & Chase, Amazon, etc. come for placements.
