Remarks

The basic eligibility of getting admission to this college was above 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math. I also passed the entrance exam taken by this college. I got all the application forms from the college admission office. It's very easy to get admission to this college if all the eligibility criteria are met by the applicant.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in the aviation industry and eagerness to work in the airport in future. the faculty-student ratio was 1:25 in core courses whereas 1:5 or 6 in programme elective courses. All the faculty teaching in vel tech are qualified and it's very easy to pass the exam in vet tech as there were all the necessary materials and books are available in the library.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Due to more placement in IT companies, student enrollment in the CSE department increases every year so there is a little hike in fees for the CSE department in comparison to other departments. There is a huge opportunity if get a placement, an abroad internship, or a master's opportunity in a partnership college .this college is providing state scholarships along with various merit-based scholarships. There is a low chance of getting part-time jobs near college or campus jobs.

Campus Life

There were a lot of sports played in college. In every college fest, there is religious activities, dance, tug of war, college tournament etc. There are various clubs in each department. In our department, there are Aero aviator club.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is too good. they provide quality food with standard AC rooms along with non-standard rooms. there are 2-seaters, 3-seaters, 4-seaters, 6 seater and single-seater rooms available in campus accommodation.

Interview Experience

No, If we meet the admission criteria, then we will get admission easily. I didn't attain any Group Discussion, Interview or Written Test for admission. I got a full scholarship for studying aeronautical Engineering at vel tech University. I have to pay the mesh charge only in college. I got a scholarship from EDCIL.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
