Remarks
60% marks in 12th are the eligibility criteria other than that there are cutoffs which merely reach 90% for general and around 90 percentile in jee mains Application forms and application details are all available on the actual website. Reservation is as per the government's prescription 27% for obc 10% views 12-13% for SC/ST Improvement is required in time management during the examination process as it takes a lot of time. Other than that if online verification of documents is an option with physical reporting it would be more comfortable for students living thousands of kilometers away.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being an engineer is always a thing that fascinates me, so opted for it after the 12th. Especially the CSE department because it could change the world with a system. The ratio of teacher: to the student is around 30 students per teacher. Mostly all of the teachers are highly qualified either pursuing Ph.D. courses or completing them. Term exams are placed twice a year and are of moderate to hard levels. But there are many other exams that make exams exert pressure every month
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies involved during the internship process, can't say about the names as I'm not able to recall them for now. In my first year, I've done my internship with the college where I built a project in java.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year students are eligible for placement. Various companies visit the college like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, die, amazon, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. No. Of the offers made were more than 2500 for around 1800 students by 343 companies. The highest package was offered by Amazon 44.14LPA(on campus) and 48LPA by Microsoft (outside campus) average placement of the college is around 7.25LPA. Nearly 95% of students get an offer of placement inside the college. Being a software engineer initially, then going for entrepreneurship.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a 2nd year student, I haven't seen many fees hike. Last year it was 118k this time around 120k, so can't say about it. Also, I don't know when the government said a fee of BTech should not be more than 66k but it's still 120k. Anyways colleges assist in state and central scholarships to eligible students which ease the cost of study for many
Campus Life
Opaque, the annual fest isn't annual. The irony is college didn't throw a fest in the last 4 years neglecting the mental health of students all they want is exams. Books and journals are available in the college library in good numbers. Classrooms are good with smart TVs, speakers, ACs, and ventilation. Sports and extracurricular happen but they are restricted to certain people and hardly new people join them. Those who join them in the first year are like the bosses of the club. ERP kiet(student portal of college), KIET drama society:-paksha, kiet music club.
