Remarks

Hello everyone I am Akshansh, an of IERT 2nd year, hope you all are doing well and well. If you want to take admitted into this college you have to appear in the JEE MAINS exams and then by AKTU counseling, you have to choose IERT as your preference. If you have the rank according to the branch cutoff of the college, you get admission to IERT. But in this college, there is also a sideway to enter, in spot round you can get branches like IC, IP, MECHANICAL, and CIVIL without any entrance exam based on your 12 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose EE because it was my dream branch from childhood. The ratio of faculty to students is not so good, approx 20:1 . All facilities are Mtech done. Terms exams are done in the months of Feb and Sep

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Tata motors, L&T, Prayagraj power limited, Wipro, HCL, TATA STEEL, and many more. The highest package is 24 LPA from Goldman Sachs The average package is about 3LPA 80% of students are placed I will go for gov job

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees are 63000 and hostel fees are 25000. Mess fees are 4000 per month The cost of the study is very low compared to other colleges. If you are eligible for a state scholarship , total of 63000 fees will refund

Campus Life

The annual fest is UDBHAV which is held in November. TECHNOVATION is the tech fest happened in the month of March 100000 books are in the library. Full comfort facilities are given in the classrooms. Sports fest is KHREEDAKHUMB, organized by 3rd year students after the tech fest There are lots of opportunities for sports people. Many music clubs are there in college

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 hostels allowed for boys, one for 1st year, one for 2nd year and one for 3rd and 4th . 2 fans and 3 bulbs are given in every room. Students used to play volleyball, football, and cricket on the hostel campus. The meal is fabulous. You have to just fill out a simple form and you will be allowed a room.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter. IERT a place to experience everything..

My score in UPSEE entrance exam was quite good to get any college in the state but I made a choice for iert because of its legacy, and here we got enough time to pursue our hobbies and to study for next exams like GATE, ESE or UPSC.
