Remarks

After the 10th there are not any entrance exams, we get directly get the admission form from the college and just fill and submit it and if he has a good percentage we will get admission. This college selects students with higher grades.

My family business is based on construction and that's the reason I selected civil engineering. There are more than 2000+ students in this college. Thakur polytechnic has one of the best faculty and teaching methods. And there is like semester wise exams which are like every 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

There is no placement in this college because it's only a diploma college. And students become eligible for their placements from the last year of college. I plan to get admission to a good college like Thakur polytechnic.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees may vary as you proceed each year and the basic fees start from 75k, there is also a scholarship given to students from government and the college also helps students to pay fees in part wise. In short, this college will support you.

Campus Life

There is a fest which happens every year. Like cricket, volleyball, football, kho-kho, and lots of games. This game is for both boys and girls. Thakur polytechnic classroom is one of the best classrooms I have ever seen with a projector in each class with AC.

After 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Several companies came are Tata, Mahindra, autolive which offered 3 to 4 lpa. The highest package as are 4-5lpa, I really don't know the company. The lowest package are 2.5 lpa The percentage of students getting placement is less, it's almost 20-30 percent My plan after getting degree is to do engineering

The curriculum are on the website all neatly explained. I chose this course because I really wanted to learn about electric vehicles. The only improvement i feel should be done is to teach everything a bit slowly that's it. Placements are good the average salary package is about 200000 to 400000. After 5 sem you are eligible to participate in placement until the previous backlog is clear and you have to score 75% above. As the college is Polytechnic so many students are studying in higher education so the ratio is about 20% of students get the placement. As I also go for higher education.

The process for college admission is done through Cap rounds, so the students should apply for those 3 Cap rounds. Read before getting admission into Thakur Polytechnic

The admission process is very smooth, no need to worry about the admission process. Eligibility for the Course is 10th pass with a minimum of 35%, and for Lateral entry, it is 40% in 12th. Fees are a little bit high for a diploma but there is a facility for reservation and for the non-reserved category, the option is available for EWS & EBC. For application, you have to register on the DSD portal of Maharashtra for the cap round process and for the non-cap process they take admission as well....Read More
