The Eligibility for this course is 12th pass. The admission process is done through Aktu counseling which is based on JEE MAINS marks and ranks, as usual, the benefits of each category apply in the admission procedure according to national standards.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I chose this B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is due to my liking for it and the various opportunities in the newly mechatronics field. The faculty in my college are all graduates from reputed institutes like IIT, NIT, and IIITs. Since admission was a bit late thus exams were delayed too but they managed to get the track session.
Placement Experience
In my college there is a training and placement cell that is very active regarding the placement opportunities . In the past year, we had a placement opportunity in BYJU and other well known companies such as Hindalco and Ultratech cement. The highest package offered was 12 LPA in BYJU and the average is usually between 6-7 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since my college is a government college, the fees are very stable and don't change much yearly and if your family income is less than 2 lakhs then you can apply for a UP scholarship which gives you around 50 to 55 k refunds. And the previous year the highest package was 12 LPA from BYJU and other well-known companies visited us.
Campus Life
There are various clubs in our college and our tech club is called SONIC which holds regularly two sessions a month for a discussion on ideas fests are arranged quarterly and impressive projects are even granted funds from the college.
Hostel Facilities
There are currently 3 hostels of which 2 are for boys and 1 is for girls. Every first-year student gets a hostel but for 2nd year they have to go out. But a new hostel for boys is almost complete and then nobody will have to go out. There are appropriate WIFI facilities all over the college and hostel. The mess is good too. You get to decide your menu at the start of the session.
