Remarks

The admission process is easy. I gave the joint entrance examination and West Bengal join the entrance. In wbjee my rank was 3000 in the tfw portal. Through this portal, I got into this college. Some faculty also help students to get admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is computer science and engineering. For a middle-class student, a job is most vital in his/her life and engineering gives this opportunity more nowadays. the teaching method is good here. The exam is tuff but in this college, the faculty makes this process too easy for exams.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college always suggests doing an internship when you want. not only that college give internship to 5th-semester of technology students. And companies come to college from the 5th semester after one gets gob he or she can do an internship where he or she gets a job.

Placement Experience

90% placement from college. For sitting in placement one should require 8 cgpa. Companies which are coming TCS, MAVENTEC, Extramark, Wipro, etc. The average package is 500000. I came here for a degree then I want to sit off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college in computer science and engineering, fees are 400000. But this college provides a scholarship named asajoyati. For West Bengal students, there is also a scholarship named the swami Vivekanand merit cum scholarship. In this scholarship, the student got 240000 in 4 years which helps a middle-class student.

Campus Life

This campus annual event is held from time to time. For blood donation and extra curriculum, many groupss is here like angaan, udaan. The project setup is here in each and every classroom. Here is two libraries one for engineering student and another for management student. A lot of books are there.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
