IET [IIT lite] if ur willing to work hard

back in 2020, there used to be a test called UPSEE in which I secured a 3000 ranks and got EI branch in the spot round. but from 2021 onwards our college has started taking admissions from jee mains. separate counseling is conducted where the seat is allotted based on jee mains percentile. A new branch of CSE-SF is started by discontinuing the EI branch.

I chose this course as I wanted to pursue my BTech in the core branch and electronics and instrumentation give plenty of opportunities in that respect. Some permanent faculties are not so good at giving marks. Some teachers teach with a lot of effort. Passing exams is not so difficult, your handwriting matters a lot.

College doesn't provide many internship opportunities, but most students do off-campus internships and get a stipend of 15000. Getting an internship is easy for coding students, core students don't get paid internships at all. still, core students do unpaid internships in uppcl, rdso , Hal, iffco, etc.

from 7 semesters students are eligible to sit for campus placement. placements for coding students are great. lots of students from CS, IT, EC, EI, etc are placed in big companies with amazing packages like 49LPA, 36Lpa, 29lpa companies like Paytm, western union, TCS, etc come for recruitment. placement for core branches is not up to the mark and is below average.

the fees are slightly lower than many other colleges. Still, they provide fee waivers to financially poor students. the scholarship also comes for 70% of students whose parents are not in government services.

there is no grand fest in college. There are only small fests organized by particular departments like civiesta from the civil department, ankuran from electronics. the library is so okay, as there is no AC and is not open 24/7. It opens till 8 pm on working days. they also won't allow u to sit in lunchtime. there are many active clubs like fractal for coding, robotics, parmarth, josh,insaniax,etc. sports facilities are good.
