You have required to give CET exam after the 12th. Then CAP rounds will happen. Select the college of your choice during the CAP round. There is a reservation for category students. After CAP allocation goes to college they will guide you through the admission process.

I have interested in a mechanical field that's why I choose this course. There are more boys than girls. Staff is well knowledgeable and experience. After every unit completion there they take the unit tests. If you study well then exams are easy.

From 6th semester we are eligible for Placement Accenture 72, Cognizant 54, Infosys 32 The highest package is 3200000 The average package is 450000 More than 25% of students got placement last year. I am going through the placement drive now.

Fees and Financial Aid

For engineering course government allotted various fees structure to categories. Faculty will guide you through the scholarship claim process. I am from the OBC category so I am applicable for the scheme: post matric scholarship for OBC student

Campus Life

Every year there is a festival named Sinhgad Karandak conducted in January. The College library is very large and a Sitting facility is available for reading. Classrooms are large and with projectors. In Sinhgad karandak there are various sports events. Sinhagad.edu is a website of the Sinhgad students council.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
