Remarks

You have to give the MH-CET exam after completion of the 12th. Marks of this entrance exam are considered for admission. You have to select the college which you want in the CAP round. After the CAP round, you have to go to college for the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an Interested in Vehicles and Machine so I choose Mechanical. In the Mechanical branch, more students are boys. Maximum staff members are master's graduates and teaching is also good and understandable. Every month unit test is taken If you study then the exam is moderate.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 47548 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements. Accenture- 72, Cognizant- 45, Infosys- 25. Highest package in last academic year 32LPA. The average package last year was 4.5LPA. More than 25% of students get placement. I am going for a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are nominal for Some Category student. Fees also do not hike too much every academic year. I have taken admitted to the OBC category. I am applying for a government scholarship named: Post matric scholarship to OBC students. I am going through a placement drive.

Campus Life

In every January month, there is a Sinhgad Karnadak function. All campuses have to combine large libraries with reading facilities. The classroom is large with sufficient light and ventilation. Various sports activities are in Karnadak. Students are running Sinhgad Students Council and the NSS scheme.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
