Remarks

The eligibility for the course is the minimum mark of 50 per cent in the Higher Secondary examinations. Lateral entry can also be applied for the second year. Admission can be done through Tnea counselling or management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

My interests from childhood were mostly in computers and technology and so I chose this course. CSE is a developing course too. The staff are qualified well and their teaching is also good. 3 internal exams are conducted per semester. It is easy to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Students will be asked to search for internships from the second year. There is an internship and industry partnership cell that helps the students during internships. Several students have undergone internships and have got stipends.

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Several tech companies like TCS, CTS, Accenture, Capgemini etc visit here during campus placements. Around 80 per cent of the students get placed. The average package is 4 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for government quota are 95,000 for CSE and 1,00,000 for management quota. If you are a first graduate student, you can avail of a reduction of 25000 rs per year but that is valid only for the government quota.

Campus Life

This year the college had an intercollege event fest named colours in the month of September. Several events are held in the even semesters. The library is quite okay. Several clubs and groups are started by our college students.

Self studying college with no enjoyment

Placement Experience:

Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Only a limited number of companies visit the campus. The common recruiters are mostly mass hiring IT service companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and a few local startups. Core companies rarely visit the campus. Very few students get placed directly on campus. For example, in my batch, less than 25–30% of students received offers, and most of them were in IT support roles rather than core engineering jobs. Salary Packages –Highest Package: Around 4.5 – 5 LPA, offered by a software company. Average Package: Around 2.5 – 3 L

Course Curriculum Overview:
