Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen the course because Chemical Engineering is the most famous and placement oriented branch of HBTU. The faculty to student ratio is very poor. The faculty in college are well educated but the teaching methods used by them are old and they didn't want to change it. There will be two midsemester exam and one end semester exam in every six months. It is not very much difficult to pass the exam if you focus a little bit on your studies.
Internships Opportunities
The internships offered by the college are mostly free in the Public Sector Units(PSUs) like IOCL, ONGC, DRDO, HPCL,etc. You are also allowed to sit for paid internship in companies that visit for placement offers. If you cleared the interview you can get paid internship and can also get PPO (Pre placement offer). The projects are prepared at the ending of second year where the faculty helps a lot.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placement from their 7th Semester. The core companies of chemical Engineering that visit college are Exxon Mobil, Tata Chemicals, Reliance Petroleum, Jubliant Ingrevia, Suez Water, etc. Almost 98% of passed students (6.5+ CGPA) got placed with 14 lpa as the highest and 7lpa as the average package. My plan is to get placed and seek experience to open my own startup in future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The total fees of academic is 1,35,000 per year. And if you also want to take hostel then this will become around 2 lacs per year. The students with less than 2 lacs per year income slab will get the UP government scholarship of around 50k. You will also get financial assistance if you are in top 10 students of your branch. Other than this, You can also opt for TFW(Tuition fees Wavier) seats where you can get 75,000 waved off immediately (if you get that seat)
Campus Life
The life at the campus is awesome with full of enjoyment. The annual fest named ADHYAY and tech fest named TECHNIKA are two of the best fests of our college. Other than this many sports fest and other events are also organised in our college. The central library is fully Air conditioned with many books but you have to also borrow book from outer libraries which are nearby campus. The classes are large, airy but not air conditioned with smart boards. Many sports and other extra curricular events are organised time to time. There are many clubs and social groups in our college. Some of the active clubs are: Autorob club, Aeroclub, Entrepreneurship Cell(for startups), NSS (for social work) and much more
Other Applied Colleges

It has very high fees as compared to the average package
