For eligibility purposes, you should have good marks in your class 12th and you are required to pass the entrance exam CUCET organized every year in two batches. you can give anyone of them available on Chandigarh university's website the name of the test is CUCET and application forms and respective dates will be visible there.

I am doing BE CSE 2nd year and I chose this course because of my interest in computer science. At least 10 teachers are available for every different class/section. All faculty members are highly qualified and most of them are P.H.D and some are in process of completing it. The teaching method is very good here. Teachers are not dependent on books for teaching and every semester there are two mid-term tests and final exams and practical exams are also there.

There are so many internship opportunities available for students. Different companies come with different positions and provide part-time and full-time internships to students according to their skills and capabilities in different fields and different projects are required for the internship.

From the 5th sem onwards every student with no backlogs and a good CGPA is eligible for placements. There are many companies which come for the students like GOOGLE, AMAZON, ACCENTURE, MICROSOFT, APPLE, etc. This year's highest package was 1.7 crore and the average package is of 8-10 lakh..almost 90-95 per cent of total students are placed in different companies and I am planning to take a good placement after completing the degree.

Normally, the academic fees for a computer science student are 2 lakh per annum but scholarships are provided to students like me who have got a 50 per cent scholarship and you can also continue with the education loan. There is no problem with that.

There are different fests organized in our university like CU fest, freshers party, AAGHAZ, etc. different tech fests like national hackathons, tech A thon , etc. and they are conducted throughout the year. There are many different libraries on campus and every type of book is available in libraries like academic, motivational, religious, etc. Classrooms are well maintained consisting of fans and lights and labs are consisting of air conditioners along with fans. There are different sports available in our university like badminton , football, basketball, etc..and extracurricular activities also and different clubs are also available like music clubs, dance clubs, etc.

Hostel rooms are well maintained and provided with 1 bed, study table, lights, fans, LAN ports, etc. Mess food is good and food is provided four times a day and food quality is good registration for the hostel can be done online on claims and the hostel will be provided to you according to the availability of rooms. The locality has multiple available PGs and flats for rent purposes provided with AC and cooler rooms.
