Remarks

I find this application form online I have a reservation certificate of obc and I have got my domicile certificate of Maharashtra. I got my caste certificate on 2019 13th july. One must get enough time for paying fees during admission process and also get a proper guidance. Not misguide us during admission

Course Curriculum Overview

3

4 times a year. A portion of architecture is Medium but the tough part is drawing. I remember having sleepless nights due to my fear of drawing. Exams are sometimes easy Sometimes medium. If you study throughout the year you will end up getting 90 percent easily in exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

Companies such as Infosys are here. If you perform well in exams you will definitely get hired. There are some projects given competition are held for outcoming the best person for the company. The stipend is 2000.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are offered. But Note not everybody gets a job in this college. It totally depends upon your cgpa in your final year and your interview. The package is decent but you can get an even better package than college if you find a job on your own.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get any scholarship. I am financially stable. Campus gave everybody a decent package. During my interview, I was offered 325000 packages per annum. But I refused to take it because I believed I could get a better package if I find a job on my own

Campus Life

3

There is a group called gharwala run by my friends in college. It's a whatsapp group We discuss doubts about drawing, annual functions and sometimes for sports activities information and most of the time for chit chat

Other Applied Colleges

Amity University | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Fees are high compared to other colleges while this course was just for backup if I don't get good marks in jee but i got good marks in jee mains so i pursued barch course from Thakur college of architecture

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
