I got admission through AIEEE. I got a rank within 2% of total candidates appeared in AIEEE in 2009 and on the basis of my rank I got admission through central counselling.

Course curriculum was according to as approved by MHRD. Choice of electives included Artificial Intelligence, Soft computing, Cloud computing, Mobile computing, and Software project management.

Internship opportunities from corporates was limited however students used to join reasearch programs of vrious research institutes. Some of the companies like Belzabar and Amazon came and gave stipend ranging from 10000 to 30000.

More than 70 out of 120 students of my batch got placed. Major companies that cane to my college included: TCS (3.5 lacs), HCL (4.5 lacs), Amazon (12 lacs), Flipkart (10 lacs), etc.

Technical fest- Infotsav (participation- 2000), Cultltural- fest Aurora (3000), Sports fest- Twaran (500). Other events included parichay ( official fresher's party, Hindi week, kavi sammelan, programming contests, etc.

Fees structure used to be very nominal (around 42000) per semester. This amount included tution fees, hostel fees, and mess bills. However, I have heard about recent hike in fees structure.

None in particular except for scholarships given to students from Andhra Pradesh by their state govt.

Gender ration is 5:1 in general. However, their is great level of tolerance among all genders, ethnicity, economic status and race. Being an institute of national importance, the institute values all the diversities.

Hostel rooms are great but food quality in mess very poor. Hostels included 24 hours internet, electricity, and water supply. But, food is a problem at this college.

Alumni network is not very good in my college. The college has not organized any alumni meet since 2009. They are also less aware about current positio of their alumni. However, few alumni who are frequent in visiting college are noted by the management.

Exams were not so frequent. We used to have 2 minors and 1 major in one semester. The classes were scheduled from Monday to Friday. There used to be few class tests but that was not hectic

All the faculty in my college were doctorates from the most pioneer institutions of India. Most of the faculties had good knowledge and command over their respective domains. They had a number of publications.
