If you have given jee main and have a decent percentile say above 85 percentile and you want to grab a seat in a good engineering college then hbtu Kanpur welcomes you. There are 13 branches and all these branches are prestigious.. definitely, this college is best for the students after nit and iit.

Hbtu conducts exams twice in each semester one is a mid-semester examination in which half of the syllabus will be covered and then end semester examination in which the whole syllabus will be covered. Passing the exams is quiet if you will start preparing a few days before you will pass out the exam with decent grades in each subject but if you want to top you must start your preparation a month before the exams

Many companies approach the college as this college is very known and prestige and nearer to the iit Kanpur and the alumini network is also very good for this college. Various internship opportunities are being provided by companies and iits to this college.

First of all, I want to make better my family condition so I am expecting some extraordinary placement and after having a good bank balance I will try something exciting which will be known to the world

The college fees are 135000 and hostel charges are 66000 per year but several financial assistances are there like fee waiver and government scholarship and the college provide scholarship to the students of ews quota

There are several social and cultural groups there in college there are so many prestigious clubs in hbtu which are organised by students only as this college is 100 years old so many notable alumni are connected with the clubs and they help in the placements and betterment of the college.

I haven't rented any pg but several pgs and rooms are available near the college and there are affordable you can also choose to go for a flat along with your 2 or 3 friends. but preferring a hostel is better because it will save you time.
