Through this program students will learn the art of philosophizing and acquaint themselves in different areas and issues of Philosophy. They will also be rigorously trained in logic and critical thinking, clear argumentative writing, careful reading and analyzing texts, and oral argument. They will also learn to apply the above skills towards an enlightened, loving and healing involvement with the self, nature and society.

The candidates must have passed in 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th Grade or equivalent. Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Every year the various lists comes out announcing the eligibility of the students required and cut-offs. The seat is offered on first come first serve basis.

The total fees is Rs.179,000. The fees is to be paid in 3 instalments. First instalment is of Rs.73,000. Second and third instalment is of Rs.53,000 each. The Tuition fee, registration fees and caution deposit changes from time to time. Registration fee is non-refundable; caution deposit is refundable on completion of the programme.

To encourage enrolment in various programs across various disciplines, MUJ offers a number of scholarships. Students applying for these scholarships are required to submit copies of their parents’ (both mother and father) Form 16/16A/ITR of the last two years. These requisite documents are to be submitted every year. To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above, every academic year, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.
