Review of MITS gwalior

Admissions are conducted to M.P. DTE counseling. The admission is based on JEE mains rank. The counseling can be done through the official website of the directorate of technical education, Madhya Pradesh i.e. dte.mponline.gov.in.

The curriculum is very advanced and updated. The CSE&IT branches have advanced curricula with all the subjects related to computer technologies including AI, IoT, data science, and machine learning. It is one of the premier institutes providing BTech in IoT, AI and machine learning, Data Science, and robotics. The faculties are all well qualified. A maximum of them are Ph.D. The classes are conducted regularly and the faculty-student ratio is also good. Faculties are very supportive. The exams are conducted regularly. There are 2 mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam every semester and also the quizzes and assignments are Carried out every week. It is not much difficult to pass the exam. The notes given by faculties are enough to pass the examination.

The campus internship and more clearly training course is started from 2nd year onwards only. The actual industry internship opportunities are provided from 3rd year. The stipend for an industrial internship varies from 10k-90k. But it is hard to get a good internship. Those who didn't get any internship are provided with on-campus internships under a faculty.

The overall placement is good. The average on-campus placement package is 6.5lpa and the highest was around 12-15lpa. But many students go for off-campus placement also. In the year 2022, one student grabs 1Cr. Package and some also get around 40lpa. The placement drive starts from the 7th semester onwards. The companies visited are Accenture, Capgemini , TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Azure, Microsoft, Amazon and many more. The placement percentage is around 96-98%.

The fees of 4 years are as follows: 1st year : 1,13,070 2nd year: 85,820 3rd year: 84,320 4th year: 84,720 There is a hike of 10% every year in the fees. There are various scholarships one can apply like MMVY for M.P. domicile students. Also, there are fee waiver seats in every branch at which the tuition fees are exempted. Overall it has a good return on investment as the placements are good.

There are more than 25 clubs in the college with various domains. Also, there is NCC and NSS. The active clubs are mits journalism society, music club, dance club, science club, rocketry club, F1 racing club, etc. Also, there are a student grievance cell and a girls' grievance cell on campus running various awareness programs.
