Remarks

In order to enter the course, a person has to clear the NEET entrance exam conducted by NTA and has to secure a good rank in order to bag a seat in a medical college. The cut-off will be released by the NTA and further counseling process will be taken up by MCC or State University. The application form, application fees, and application dates are released by Dr.NTRUHS University on their website in respective notifications. A candidate has to go through the process as mentioned in the notification and is required to pay 10000 rupees to download the admission receipt if he/she gets admission and thereafter is allowed to get admission in the respective medical college. I think the ongoing admission process is well designed and requires no further changes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS is something everyone dreams of, As a kid, I've always wanted to be a doctor and I've taken up this course. The course curriculum has 19 subjects in total and is divided over 4 years + 1 year of internship in the hospital associated with the same medical college where a medico studies. The faculty members are well trained and experienced. The faculty-student ratio is also sufficient. Every professor is well qualified and trained and has a lot of experience and expertise with them which is very useful for budding doctors like us. The exams will be yearly once conducted by the state University which in our case is Dr.NTRUHS. The college/respective departments conduct internal examinations for every three months and pre-final examinations before University examinations. It is hard to pass these exams as they say but with sufficient reading and revision, a student can pass with flying colors.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship duration is one year. It involves rotation in all clinical departments and provides an opportunity for interns to gain expertise in various procedures. The internship duration is rewarded with a stipend of around 20k per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 10k per annum and hostel fees, mess fees, and other miscellaneous fees will be around 70k. There will be no fee hike usually. Scholarships if applicable can be availed by the students either sponsored by Central and/or state governments.

Campus Life

3.5

Life on campus will be good. The atmosphere is student-friendly. Fests are not so common but college day will be held annually and freshers day is held annually too. Other programs will be held accordingly. Books and journals in the library are available. Classrooms have projectors and other equipment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

Great college to Study, Bad College for Enjoying. It will come good as it is still a budding college. Soon, playgrounds will be there and lot of sports from our college will come up. But academically, this is one of the top places to be. You may think it maybe a new college, so it wouldn't be great. But, the academics are top class and you would be happy enough to come here for it.
