Entrance Preview

The entrance to our college is quite easy. You need to pass your senior secondary exams from any recognized institution in India and clear the CAT exam. There is no additional burden of any kind of admission test.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is easy. The focus is on overall development of the student rather than just on academics. There is a wide industry exposure and students are motivate through lectures and workshops.

Placement Experience

A lot of placement opportunities are present in the college in significant number. The college management and the placement cell is very supportive as they groom the students to appear for the interviews.

Various events are conducted in the college. I loved to be a part of these annual events that were a part of the college. A large number of students participated in the college events such as dancing, singing etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite affordable for the hotel management course as compared to other colleges in India. It is 200,000 per year for the complete course that is of two years.

Campus Life

The campus life is fun. There is a huge crowd that is academically motivated and have an urge to make the change. Also many facilities are provided in the college such as cafeteria, auditorium, wifi etc.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Placement Experience:

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

IIM Calcutta is in an excellent location. There were 172 companies on campus, offering approximately 520 jobs. IIM C had a 100% placement rate, with the majority of companies coming from Consulting, BFSI, Marketing, and IT. Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
