My journey with IITRADE

PGPM course from IITRADE changed my life for good. It was a roller coaster of learning experiences. The institute is pretty much dedicated to preparing the leaders for the future. One of the best things about the institute was that they were constantly emphasizing on imposing cultural diversity and academic diversity to infuse a varying perspective in the classroom for enhanced learning.

The course curriculum was relevant and is very well designed to meet real-world expectations from corporates. It makes the students industry-ready. The curriculum covered a wide range of disciplines and gives a good hand to all the functions. So I have chosen this course. More case studies and practical applications should be added, and that could be helpful.

Placements are pretty good at our college. The package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. The average package offered us 14 lakhs per annum. Our college is known for its best-in-business placements. Some of the frequent recruiters include ITC, TCS, Amazon, and HDFC. Most of the recruitments are done for the role of general management and product management.

The college organizes some awesome management fests. Apart from that, the sports activities were limited. College is well immersed into academics and we have very little time for extracurricular activities apart from the annual fest and occasional workshops.

The first-year fee for my PGPM course was just over 1 lacs for the first year, which is at least less than other management colleges. The total course fee was around 2 lacs for the two-year program, which I paid in biannual installments.

The library is stacked with books and journals from different disciplines like analytics, finance, marketing, human resource, and other management books. Sports facilities are generally bad since we are too absorbed in our academics. Overall the social life was good, depending upon how well you managed it.

Admission to the PGPM is on the basis of CAT exam scores. I scored 84 %ile in the entrance exam and it was enough to be eligible for the counseling process of the other colleges as well. So I attended counseling for this college since it was near my hometown. Luckily, I was able to crack the proceeding rounds.

Teachers are well qualified with a high level of expertise. They are really helpful with extensive corporate exposure which helped us with a hands-on learning experience.
