Entrance Preview

Admission process is very easy of this college. A candidate desirous to get admission to MCA in JSPM’s JIMS must appear for Common Entrance Test MAH-MC-CET conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Govt. or the Institute level Entrance Exam conducted by the Management Association of MCA Institutes (MAMI).

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is exclusively designed to meet the IT requirements of IT Trained Students for various organisations. The well balanced course significantly emphasizes on planning, designing and building of complex commercial application software and system software. The course also places equal importance on the functional knowledge in various areas.

Internships Opportunities

The student has to undergo a project (Industrial training) in the 6th Semester of their course for a period of four months(December to March). The training would be exclusively for software development in either commercial application or systems. The project should be aimed at implementing all analysis, designing & programming tools that has been learnt in the course curriculum.

Placement Experience

The companies that comes during the placement week hires in these application areas include transaction processing (such as banking, stock exchange order processing) simulation, database management, e-commerce, design support and data communications, networking, embedded technologies, etc.

Total there are 50 to 60 companies visited on campus and something arround 200 to 300 offers were given. Remarks:

The college gives you exposure to many subjects which is very useful and trains students with real-life case studies.
