Remarks

No, the admission process is very simple and smooth. All the details are provided by the college regarding the document submission and fee structure. The college sends an email on the registered mail ID and informs about everything. XET is the entrance test and then the qualified ones are called for the interview session.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This is the best college in the city for a mass communication course. Xavier is a brand and has its colleges across the nation. The education provided here is top-notch. The motto of the college is to build men and women for others. The college not only focuses on academics but also to build a good human. College also has English proficiency classes which are very helpful for learning the language and building personality. The faculty members here are all well qualified and have taken the examination to work as assistant professors and several Ph.D. holders are too involved here as visiting faculty and department heads.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College help students by providing the contact details of several companies and almost every student gets an internship with those contacts. Different streams get internship opportunities in different sectors like banking, marketing, production, insurance company, etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Final-year students are eligible for the placement. Companies like HDFC, Vivo, etc. visit the campus and offer packages up to 16 lakh. The highest package offered was 16 lakh and the average package offered is 8 lakhs. Around 70% of students get placement from the campus. This college does not provide master's degree courses therefore I would be applying to some other college outside the city for my master's degree in the same course.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a missionary institution it is not focused only on profit-making. The fees for the courses provided are less than any other college in the city. Xavier's College provides scholarships and financial assistance to the needy. It also encourages students to avail the Bihar student credit card scheme facility.

Campus Life

4.5

Many events are held in the college every year. Every Tuesday a small event is organized. Annual day, fest which is known as XEST, Holi celebration, sports day and several academics related seminars are organized for the students of different departments. Resource persons with expertise are invited to address students. Inter and intra-college sports events are organized where students and professors participate. All sorts of sports are played in the college with the supervision of a coach. There are many clubs in the college like YFI (youth for free India ), NSS, theatre club, dhwani club, dance club, Kabir club (poetry), debate club, etc. There are several grievance cells where students can get help. Apart from this colleges have their placement cell.
